I made this for the 6sock knit along January 2006. I used the stained glass slip stitch pattern from Socks, Socks, Socks. Until this sock I had only knit vanilla socks in variegated yarn top down with dp's.

I tried so many things on this sock: toe up, 2 circulars, 2 at once and slip stitch knitting. You would think that so many things at once would have been a disaster. The hardest part was seeing my stitches in black yarn. But they turned out. Not the most professional looking socks, but I still like them.
